We have all enjoyed sitting in the winter sun leaning against a stone wall, which radiates heat back to us. This same process is used when the infrared panel produces heat to warm people, walls and furniture, and will also make stone or wooden floors slightly warmer underfoot too, so rooms will feel warm and cosy, without drying the air or feeling stuffy, this is ideal in cold and damp old buildings or warehouse type spaces.
