As with any form of heating, it is important that the room is well insulated, if your conservatory is not of solid construction and double glazed we would suggest you choose a higher wattage panel to compensate for this and still maximise energy efficiency.
Our heating areas are approximate, we have assumed a room size proportionately similar to the panel dimensions. For example a square small heater will stuggle to heat a long thin room as the rays will not be felt at the ends of the room, maximum infrared rays will travel about three metres, so it would be best to have two small heaters or one large rectangular heater, if the room were L shaped then definately two panels would be required. For more information please have a look at our page on calculating power wattage required.
If you require any further advice concerning infrared or choosing which size of panel best suits your requirements please email or telephone us. Other size or wattage options may be available to order.
